Having a really hard time moving on from a break up

It’s been almost two months. I have completely lost all motivation. I’m like an empty shell. I have two jobs and I go to school. I can’t focus at work and have completely given up on all my school work. I’ve been going out with friends but the sadness and emptiness is still there. It won’t go away. I just really want to disappear. I can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel at all. I’ve talked to friends with different opinions. I just really don’t know how to pull myself back up. My mind is eating me up with all the what ifs. I can’t seem to accept the fact that he will no longer come back. I really need help. I just want all the pain and memories to go away

Hi KaeLa, nice to see you. When we lose someone important to us, as when a breakup occurs, we go through a grieving process. It takes whatever time it takes to go through this process, and we all grieve in our own way. I know that dull ache of losing someone, we have all gone through it. It hurts a lot. But by going through this process, we get to the other side and begin a new chapter in life. So I hope you will stay active in life, do all things you need to maintain your wellbeing. Get lots of support, talk it out with friends and family. Have your feelings, if you need to cry, let the tears out. You might also consider reaching out to a mental health professional who could give your some support, or finding a grief support group. Take good care of yourself.
