Hi sweetbre,

Nice to hear from you, my friend!

I am sorry to hear that you are feeling alone and unloved. You came to the right place. You have a lot of people here on Depression Connect who are concerned about you and want to walk this journey with you.

I don't know where you live or how old you are. But i would encourage you to reach out to people who can be supportive and helpful. These people can include family members who can spend some time with you, and offer you some support. If you haven't reached out to them yet, this might be the time. Or friends that you think might be supportive.

Some communities have support groups that you can join. You might want to check out the Website of the National Association of the Mentally Ill, www.nami.org, for support groups in your area.

I would also recommend that you look into seeing a counselor, who can listen to what's going on with you, give you some support, and work with you on getting connected with people. If you don't have health insurance, you can also check into community mental health resources in your community.

If you are living with your parents, let them know how you are feeling and see if they can help you. If you are in school, talk to a school counselor.

The important thing is not to go through this alone. Think about what the people that you might reach out to, and then reach out.

And stay in touch with us!

Gary
